  • Time zone: We’re on GMT+1
  • Currency: Sweden is part of the European Union, but not part of the Euro community. We still have our own currency, the Swedish Krona – SEK. One Euro is roughly 10 kronas.
  • Cell phones: There are many GSM and 3G carriers in Sweden, running on 900 and 1800 MHz frequency. The main carriers are Telia, Tele2, 3 and Telenor.
  • 4G: Kista is in the area that is also covered by a 4G network (Ericsson offices are in this part of Stockholm).
  • Electronics stores: In the Kista Galleria, close to the event, there are two stores: Kjell & CO and Clas Ohlsson, that has a good range of cables, gadgets and hard disk drives…
  • Commuting: Stockholm has a very good public transportation system. Unless there’s a lot of snow and minus degrees (celsius) most trains, subways and buses run on schedule. There should be no need for a rental car. Please visit the SL site for more information. You can buy travel cards for 260 SEK for 7 days.

Airport transportation

From the Arlanda airport we have an airport train to downtown Stockholm, buses directly to the Kista area and taxi.
